British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
